Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort Introduces Special Military Appreciation Program

GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND, April 4, 2002 – Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort, the newest beachfront resort on Grand Bahama Island, announced the introduction of a special “military appreciation” rate for U.S. military personnel in all branches of service. The special rate of $115 per room per night for Breakers Cay and Lighthouse Pointe accommodations at the resort is available beginning April 12.

The special rate, which represents a more than 40% discount off standard room rates, will be available from April 12 – September 30, 2002. To receive the special rate, guests must present valid military identification upon check-in at the resort – if proper ID is not presented, guests will be charged the lowest rate available at the time, based on room category.

“This special rate is one small way for us to show our appreciation to our military servicemen and women,” said Lisa Bauer, CTC, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort. “It gives them the perfect opportunity to treat themselves and their families to a relaxing, island get-away,” Lisa added.
