Golfpackage.com Goes Live with Pinehurst "Donald Ross" Offer

The web site, Golfpackage.com, serves as a catch-all portal for golf enthusiasts looking for facilities and services provided by some of Golf's most famous names.

"The name is so generic that we've been experiencing traffic on the domain for years before we actually decided to build a business model and a site to go with it," says Mike Pratt, the site manager. "Though our marketing campaign is now officially under way, traffic to the site has been admirable, to say the least, from people just 'guessing' there must be a site called 'Golfpackage.com.'"

Golfpackage.com's business plan calls for development of a database of links to sites for premium golf facilities and service providers, accessible to Golfpackage.com's visitors with one or two clicks.

Van Etten brings a background in sales and golf to his new position.
